What Is A Pregnancy Resource Center?

Pregnancy Resource Centers (PRCs) offer people free, non-judgmental support at a stressful time in their lives. They educate people about their options, helping them to make informed decisions. No shame, no pressure.

Did You Know?

The most common reason cited for abortion is a lack of resources. Pregnancy centers provide resources and services (like ultrasounds) free of charge, thanks to the generosity of donors.

Are pro-life health clinics operated by real medical professionals?
Yes, these pregnancy centers are operated by real medical professionals such as licensed medical doctors, ultrasound technicians, registered nurses, and certified counselors.

Do pregnancy centers trick people into making an appointment?
No, pregnancy centers make it clear that they do not offer or refer for abortion – online, over the phone, and on in-take forms.

Why is the abortion industry so against PRCs helping women?
Abortion providers have a financial interest in keeping their patients from accessing resources that may result in their keeping their pregnancies. The abortion industry is powered by billions of dollars a year. It's no mystery why the abortion lobby wants to eliminate pregnancy resource centers – they directly affect their bottom line. So who are the liars?

Dental Care

What You Need to Know Before You're Pregnant to While You're Nursing

Dentably, a blog about dental care for underserved communities, has a first-rate guide on the healthcare needs of people who are pregnant, trying to conceive, or nursing. A Spanish-language version is available as well. One of their authors shared her story with us:

When I was pregnant, I had extreme tooth pain that led me to go to the dentist during my 2nd trimester. I was worried about having an x-ray and dental work done because I was very concerned about the effect it would have on my baby. I realized I had these fears because none of my pregnancy books or blogs I was reading had very much information on dental care during pregnancy. I work with Dr. Amanda, an experienced female doctor, and together we have discussed dental care issues such as this and decided to research and write a detailed guide…

Dental Care Basics for Pregnant Women & Babies

Staying on top of oral health and dental care during pregnancy is crucial to ensure a newborn has a healthy start. As behavior, diet, and nutrition change throughout pregnancy, a common result is the production of dental caries. If a pregnant woman has a higher risk of tooth decay, it’s more likely that her child will develop them as well.
